S. L. Prof. Agarwal has been dean of medical colleges and dean, faculty of medicine of various universities for 15 years; Whole-Time Inspector, Medical Council of India; Member, Dr. B.C. Roy Reorientation of Medical Education Committee; Member, Governing Body, Indian Council of Medical Research; and Vice-President, National Board of Examinations. He was Rockefeller Foundation Fellow and received Dr. B.C. Roy National Award under the category of Eminent Medical Teacher. He is a member of the editorial board of standard journals on the subject and Annals ofNationalAcademyofMedicalSciences. Sunil Agarwal is currently Professor of Medicine, University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi. He is a gold-medalist in Medicine from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, and has a teaching and clinical experience in internal medicine for undergraduates and postgraduates for more than 19 years.
