D. Roy Choudhury is Professor and Head, Electronics and Computer Engineering Department, Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi. He was also Dean, Faculty of Technology, Delhi University, Delhi. He teaches courses in linear integrated circuits, computers, networks and control systems both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His special interests include control engineering, artificial neural networks and petri nets. He received his M.Tech. degree in Radio physics and Electronics from the Institute of Radio physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, in 1966 and Ph.D. from the same university in 1971. From 1971 to 1973, he was associated with the Institute de Reglage Automatique EPFL, Switzerland. He has been with the Delhi College of Engineering since 1974 where he also served as the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Recently he was on a visiting assignment at Oakland University, USA.
